Our Purton bacon is cured in store by us. We start by salting loins of pork, then we leave the salt for a few days to draw out the water in the pork, curing the pork at the same time to create bacon! We then slice the bacon slightly thicker so you can properly taste it when you eat it. This bacon contains no added water, and is cured using salts, so it tastes more salty than our other bacons.
